Downtown Freehold, in the beginnings of its new renaissance, has experienced tremendous success in 2009, beyond expectations. For that, we are grateful not only to our invested business owners and volunteers, but our sponsors. Their generous donations and spirit have made 2009 a critical breakthrough in drawing thousands of people to our bustling enclave - much to their delight and ours.
In fact, in October, statewide cable news station, NJ 12, reported on how well Downtown Freehold businesses are faring, a distinctive ray of hope not experienced by most other downtowns.
