The Borough of Freehold proudly presents the Spirit of Monmouth Festival: Where Freedom Stood, a community event commemorating Freehold’s significant role in American history during the Battle of Monmouth in 1778. This free, family-friendly festival invites residents and visitors to experience the rich heritage of our town through a variety of engaging activities and live entertainment.

Live music performances by The British Invasion Years, Saw Mill Run, and WCT Band
A diverse selection of local vendors and artisan booths
A wide array of food trucks offering regional and specialty cuisine
Historical exhibits that bring the 18th century to life
This event is hosted by the Borough of Freehold with the support of honorary co-chairs, Assembly members Luanne Peterpaul and Margie Donlon.
